We celebrated our Chinese New Year downtown. It was cold yet the kids still danced traditional dances and a group performed Tai Chi with swords. The best part was watching the famous dragon dance in the Chinese gardens. This is the year of the ox, so if you aren't an ox just go befriend an ox and get the benefits of their luck this year :)
Our own New Year wasn't any different, dressing up in our formal hoodies and pj's, banging our own fine china pots and jumping around outside, what might classify as a dance. Reeds face alone can tell you just how excited we are for this new year.

hee hee! I love it! at least you celebrated! I was probably changing someone's diaper and missed it. Drat. good thing we can do it next year! We need to talk.
