ANNIVERSARY #1

As you see above we returned to Canon beach, where Reed proposed last year. There we enjoyed a picnic with Norah and a boomerang, Reed got for his birthday. We walked around Ecola lookout and enjoyed seeing the Tilley Lighthouse, one of the rare lighthouses to not be directly on coast.
We also enjoyed finding our way to the nearest Olive Garden with Reeds other birthday gift, a new GPS, something we have wanted for along time. We then concluded by going, just the two of us, ice skating- a tradition of ours.
We also started a "marriage time capsule" with as many momentos of our last year as we could find. This was fun because we got to reflect on all the fun things we did our first year of marriage and goals of what we want down the road. We will open it our 2nd, 5th, 10th, 25th and 50th, accumulating items as we go.
Reed, being the wonderful husband he is, got me flowers everyday that week, the first and last days were roses, I was quite spoiled. Together, we feel really blessed. We have had a great marriage and can't wait for the many years to come.

For Norah I made her a hat, pretty in pink. SHe was feeling left out and we decided she was one of the best things that happened this year, so she desired it. I didn't measure it so it is a little big, thus it keeps coming down when she moves a lot. Ironically she fell asleep on our walk, even when she couldn't see :)
