Amanda and I get together Wednesdays once in a while to create something. This was my first project...a skirt. It turned out okay, surprisingly, although I am not a fan of that how-to, pattern language. We have done a few small things, next project together is a quiet book....will show when done. I took the advice from the blog and went ahead with the book and the quilt, although I am taking my time with the quilt. Here is a sneak peak at the colors though....

I got a sewing machine for Christmas and just went at it. i really didn't know what i was doing, but I got the idea in my head and tried until I got it right. That is all that happened with the crib stuff :) As far as colors that I like, well any really. hehe. The baby's room is Blue and brown but I also like green and lately I really like orange. I bet you know what that is like :) So any colors are great! Hope the house hunting is going well for you!
great job! i can't wait to get a sewing room/place set up in our sometime future house and make all sorts of fun things. quiet books are the best!! :)
