Clam Diggin Day

We got to go dig along the Netarts Bay with the Gaskins this last week.  I had been once before, up in Alaska and loved digging after the razor clams, but the two kinds we got were way easier.  The ones Norah and I have were right on the top surface.  We found out that the smaller ones actually had parasites in them and could only cook up a few of them, along with our home made soup bowls for a tasty clam chowder soup bowl fiesta.  Would have been even better if we had some sun.
Funny enough, just wearing the FBI hat got a lot of people nervous, thinking I was going to check their licenses and limits on clams.  One guy dug up a clam bigger than my hand, who knows if he had a license, but
no one stopped us!!!
Our mighty leader David B. Gaskin.
