We had a busy week the other week. Reed has been working overtime and the blessings have paid off, as those in his group were given an additional paid week to enjoy last week. We didn't want to waste it, so we crammed it with whatever we could, sorry didn't remember to always take pictures. Monday: Clamming all day, cleaning and eating the cockle clams that night. I do enjoy clamming and prefer to find them than eat them. I was just surprised Norah was content to play around the bay without too much attention.
Tuesday: We got some sleeping in time before leaving for camping at Champoeg, only 30 minutes away. We went fishing, or rather tried to get Reed used to his new fishing equipment. Fish weren't active, but Norah sure was. I was all over the place trying to keep my eye on her.
Norah spilled bubbles all over the chair and then sat in it. We didn't have the diapers with us at the time, so she sat like that for another half hour...so sad.
I got to try out my new sleeping bag, I got for my birthday this year. I wasn't cold at all and neither was Norah, with her seven blankets :)
The next day we stopped by the library to feed the ducks and enjoyed watching Norah run from any of the geese that came to her.
We also got to enjoy the Children's Museum, where she got to enjoy 2 hours of actvities, story time and a good hug from Curious George.
I had the hardest time prying her from the water works area, one thing she isn't afraid of. Most of the time she just liked to rearrange other peoples water paths, seen here. She is such an organizer!!
We got to get a lot of yard work done, enjoy a fun BBQ and more fishing with friends at Hagg Lake and finish our week with a big game night. It was crazy fun.
