August catch-up

We had my parents stay with us for almost 3 weeks this month.  We loved having family close, especially in preparation for the baby.  They almost didn't get to see them, due to having to leave shortly after he decided to show his cute face.
I know that we had fun while they were here.  I enjoyed more rest as mom helped put Norah to bed and settle down during storytime.  Grandma never made it very far in the story apparently.
We got to do many things, including enjoying a girls tea party with Norah's new tea set, Grandma Nola gave her for her birthday.
We were sad to see them leave, but glad we were able to enjoy having them around, even if we kept losing games to them. We felt very spoiled for those weeks!!!
Now we find our typical free time is spent catching up on our "Z's".  Cole falls asleep easily when he is being held, especially in dad's arms or his rocker swing.  Each day he spends a little more time awake with his eyes open.  He still struggles with some type of reflux and will swallow the milk that comes up instead of trying to just spit it out, that keeps him from sleeping well at night a lot. Yet, he still is growing, at 11 lbs and so much fun to just watch.

Cole is so cute and it looks like you had a good time with your parents. That is so nice that they could come.
