Summer savings

We bought this wagon at a garage sale for 10 dollars, so awesome.  I take the kids everywhere in walking distance in this sweet thing.  I love garage sales, a weakness for me since my daddy took me to ones all the time growing up.
We decided to take the wagon and do some chalk drawing at friends' house's.  Cole always sits in it like he is in a recliner, I love it.
Free things are always awesome.  On 7-11 we always get the free slushies that 7-11, the store, gives out.  We never miss this event, as it is a highlight during our summer heatwaves.  Last year Norah ate all of it, so we each got our own.  Cole will have to wait for the excitement til next summer.  He is already a sugar addict, like his daddy, so we try to limit what sugar he eats.
Our entertainment this summer is our weekly summer playgroup with friends.  Doesn't cost a thing and usually we try to do it at parks close by.  Cole is now big enough for the swings.
I have made it a goal to drive 2-3 days a week, during the weekdays.  I bike the rest of days with the kids in their trailer.  We would go without helmets, but some ladies nagged me about safety so I went and got the cheapest things I could find, garage sale 1.00 for both.  Cole's is a little big still, but they do the job. Now we can bike in peace.
Cole's new word this last week has been "uh oh".  He says it all the time.  Here he was saying it after he dumped the fried rice everywhere.
I had to put this shot in here.  Cole is walking about but because his head is still a little big for his body he has to catch himself once in a while.  I caught him as he was turning.  He makes me smile.

You need to teach me how to do garage sales because I am not good at getting anything good at them and those YW activities look so fun. Thanks for updating with cute pics of the kiddos. We sure wish we were closer so we could play!- Mindy
